    Dear parents and guardians,

Albert Einstein once said, "You can live your life as if nothing is a miracle or everything is a miracle."  My life has been nothing short of destiny, playing out what I have always been meant to do, which is to inspire young minds. I attended Georgian Court University and graduated with honors in the areas of special and general education. For the last sixteen years, I have educated students at Brookside and Woodland Elementary Schools in Monroe Township, New Jersey. In my years in the district, I have taught grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 along with self-contained, resource center, and in-class support.  As my students have grown, I have taken courses to continue my education in the areas of reading and writer's workshop, Pearson success for mathematics, applied behavior analysis, positive behavior support, iPad, Steam, and Google suites to name a few.  However, the most significant training I receive is from you and your children.  Children are my greatest teachers since individualized instruction is critical to success.  Most importantly, using the child's strengths to assist with overall growth helps the children with self-concept and the love of learning. In the final analysis, I am looking forward to working with your children this school year.

    GOOD NEWS:
For this school year, I am excited about working with Mrs. Maricondi in order to help every child grow.  We will be working with the children all day in the areas of science, enrichment, and health.  Furthermore, in the area of social studies, I will be traveling with your children to teach social studies.

    INFORMATION ABOUT THE DAY:
I will be sending home a packet that explains my procedures, rules, and policies in my resource room student's Bi-Weekly Folder.  Furthermore, students will receive a laminated schedule of all subjects that will be tapped in their homework assignment pads.

    HOMEWORK & HOMEWORK PAD:
At the beginning of the school year, we will sign homework assignment pads so students and parents feel confident in their knowledge of our homework.  Each child in my resource room ELA and math classes may receive different assignments.  Please ensure parents and students look at the assignment pads each night.   If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me.

    WEBPAGE INFORMATION & GOOGLE CLASSROOM:
As time marches on, I will continue to update my math, reading, and language arts pages based on the curriculum with games for your child to practice at home.  Please see our Homeroom Google Classroom for information.  Lastly, I will have a separate Google Classroom for my Math and ELA students.  Please see and accept my invitation in the coming days of school so you can have all the information you need.
