Dear Little Friends,
My name is Mrs. Ginter and I will be your new teacher. I am so excited to meet you and I know that we will have a fantastic time together. I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I love to sing, draw, and play instruments (guitar and piano). I am married to Mr. Randy and have two daughters, named Sydney (4) and Josslyn (1). I also have a puppy, Mugsy, he’s a puggle and he is a lot of fun to play with! This summer, I traveled to Ocean City, MD. I can’t wait to get to know about your favorite things too!
This year, we will learn a lot! J We will sing a lot of fun songs! We will read books, complete science experiments, solve math problems, use the computers, and much more! Here is a list of items you will need for our class.Suggested School Supplies
1 pencil box LABELED with child’s name (where pencils, scissors, glue, and crayons will be kept)
1 pair of scissors
1 box of crayons
2 glue sticks
1 pack of SHARPENED #2 pencils
1 box of tissues (a box for the entire class)
1 package of baby wipes (a box for the entire class)
1 bottle of hand sanitizer (for the class to use)
Please do not purchase rolling book bags on wheels, as they do not fit in our classroom cubbies. Thanks!
I hope that you really enjoy the rest of your summer. Please remember to read lots of books, and try to keep a journal for the next few weeks all about your summer thoughts (even if it’s just pictures and some labels - it’s great practice). Again, I am so looking forward to meeting you and seeing your smiling face on September 3rd! We will be in Room 109. I know we will be great friends. If your parents have any questions they can contact me at: sginter@monroe.k12.nj.us. See you soon!
Big hugs,
xoxo Mrs. Ginter xoxo
