• Mrs. Echevarria's Health Class

Students will be given weekly extra credit opportunities to take advantage of during the marking period. For each extra credit assignment turned in and 100% correct, the student will receive a point to be added onto their final grade for the marking period. This is a way to teach students to make proactive choices rather than reactive choices. For this reason, I do not give any extra credit assignments at the end of the marking period to try and improve a grade, because the opportunity to receive extra credit points was there weekly for the duration of the marking period.

Depending on the grade your child is in, will determine the information they are taught for the marking period. The Health Curriculum can be found on the district homepage under the "Curriculum" tab.

We do many fun and entertaining projects, posters, debates and skits. The students have many opportunities to work with their friends on assignments, and play review games for tests.
