Volunteer
There are so many ways to take part in your child's classroom. If you would like to volunteer, please review the list below and send me an email or a note listing how you would like to lend a hand. You do not need to volunteer on a weekly basis, some things will be on a need to be basis. Even if you are unable to volunteer during the day there are ways to help out at home. Throughout the year, I will also send out letters to gather some "Helping Hands" on different projects that may or may not be listed. Please check your child's Tuesday Folders. Classroom Helper
This is a job where you can come into the classroom once a week. You will assist the children during Center Time and then help me when the children go to lunch with bulletin boards, filing, classroom projects, etc.
Mystery Reader
This is an opportunity to read to the class. Parents, older siblings, grandparents, relatives or other special people can surprise your child by being a "Mystery Reader".
Presenter
Please send me a note if you have a special talent that you would like to share with the class.
Editor
I may need some helping hands in editing our class books.
Take It Home Volunteer
This job is done in the classroom or at home. I may need extra hands during class projects, cutting out laminated materials, assembling books, etc.
Classroom Donations
You can also help by viewing our classroom donations list. If you have anything laying around at home, please feel free to send it in. Click here to view our Classroom Wish List.
Tuesday Folder Helper
Assistance is needed every Tuesday to help stuff our weekly Tuesday Folders.
I know that it can be difficult to come into school to do some of these activities. However, we can come up with alternate solutions. If you are interested in being a Mystery Reader, or a Presenter, you can send in a video, tape record your presentation or we can try to come up with other ways to make it work.
If you would like to lend a hand just send me a quick note and the activities that you are interested in. We value our volunteers so much and can't thank you enough for your "Helping Hands".
