Hello friends,  

My name is Mrs. Lane and I am very excited to be your 3rd grade teacher this year! You may already know me as I have been teaching at Mill Lake in the Snoopy-filled classroom across from the cafeteria for nine years. I live in Monroe with my husband, two sons and one funny dog, Bailey. I taught art in East Brunswick for 10 years before leaving to raise my children. Brady graduated from Monroe in 2020, attends Kean University, and is studying to become a Physical Education teacher (like Mr. Lane). Aidan graduated from Monroe in 2023 and is a sophomore, playing football and baseball at Moravian University. Mr. Lane recently retired after teaching and coaching in East Brunswick after 38 years! Since I have a strong background in art education, you can expect a lot of fun and creative projects in our classroom! In my free time I love to read, swim, watch Hallmark movies, use my Cricut, crochet, craft, do jigsaw puzzles, bake, go to the beach and spend time with my family! I love teaching in the same school that my sons attended and I'm really looking forward to meeting all of you.  I pride myself on creating a comfortable, safe and welcoming environment in which to learn. We are going to have an awesome year together!
