    What to Bring:

    • Lunch: Students can either bring in a lunch from home or can order a school lunch.
      • Cold Lunch: If your child's lunch needs to be kept cold, please inlclude an icepack in your child's lunchbox.
      • Hot Lunch: If your child's lunch is a hot lunch, I ask that you please try your best to send these items in already heated and placed in a thermos. We will be eating in the cafeteria and also have our specials immediately following lunch. Therefore, I would like to minimize prep and clean up times to ensure ample time to eat lunch.
      • Utensils: If needed, please send in utensils with your child's lunch.
    • Snack: During the morning, we will have snack as a class. Please send in a small snack and a drink for this time.
      • If you would like to assign a snack/drink specifically for this time, please label it accordingly in your child's lunchbox.
      • It is recommended that the snacks sent in vary from items that are used as reinforcers, as this may lead to satiation.
    • Reinforcers: Please send in a variety of preferred items that may be useful in establishing motivation.
      • Edibles/Drinks: You may send these in daily and request for any remainders to be sent back home or you may send a bulk quanitity for storage at school. (Please be conscientious of limited classroom storage: for example, send in enough water bottles for the week, rather than the month, etc.) It can sometimes be helpful to have some edibles on reserve at school, in case the reinforcers sent in on any particular day are not preferred at that particular time.
      • Toys/Electronics: You may send these in daily and have these items returned home at the end of the day, or you may choose to keep specific toys here for longer increments. These toys will be left in your child's work area and will not be mixed in with the classroom toys. We ask that you please label these items with your child's name or initials for extra precaution; mistakes can sometimes happen!
    • Extra Clothes: Please send in a change of clothing for your child that we may keep here at school in case of toileting accidents and/or spills. Please label all items with your child's name or initials before sending in to school. If we are required to use any of the clothing articles, we will write home to inform you and to ask for a replacement article to be sent in to replace it.
      • Recommended clothing articles include: underwear, shorts, pants, short and long sleeved shirts, socks and shoes. In addition, please feel free to send in an extra sweatshirt or jacket that can be left at school for use should your child become chilly.
    • Wipes/Tissues:
      • Wipes: Please start off by sending in one package of wipes to be used for toileting purposes.
      • Tissues: Please send in a box of tissues to help soothe any sniffles and/or runny noses that may arise throughout the year.
