NJSLA 2020

  • Dear Parents and Guardians,

This year begins the first year your child will participate in NJSLA (New Jersey Student Learning Assessment) testing, previously known as PARCC. The test assesses your child’s core knowledge in the third grade Common Core State Standards.

Unlike NWEA MAP, this test is not an adaptive test, but rather measures your child’s understanding of the district’s curriculum.

Students will take the NJSLA tests with their entire class. Students who see other teachers throughout the day may be taking the tests with those teachers, but all students will be taking the tests on the same day at the same time. Therefore, please refer to the following schedule if your child needs to leave school early or miss any days. This will be able to reduce the interruption of test taking times.

For practice and released testing items, take a look at the links below.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions or concerns.
