Get Ready for Obstacle Courses you can do at home!
Set up "mini" obstacle courses to improve strength, balance, motor planning and coordination using:
-pillows to walk on
-crawling under blankets or tape attached to chairs
-jumping forward to taped spots
-tape balance beam
-animal walks
You can also incorporate other learning activities such as picking up puzzle pieces to complete a puzzle or index cards with letters or sight words while navigating the obstacle course.
