Welcome to Second Grade! My name is Danielle Pandolfi. I am a Special Education Teacher at Mill Lake School. I teach Reading and Math in room 410.
I am so excited to be working with your child this year. This is my 9th year teaching at Mill Lake School. Prior to that, I was a substitute for all grades in both Mill Lake and Woodland Schools for 5 years. I am a resident of Monroe Townhsip and both my boys went to Mill Lake! I have one son that lives in Charlotte, NC and my other son is a junior at Rutgers University!
My family and I spend time every summer in the Outer Banks in North Carolina. I love the beach, tacos, reading, the color pink, and watching sports with my boys. I am looking forward to learning all about my students and getting to know them this year.
I have my BA in Elementary Education and Psychology from Hofstra University and my Graduate Certification in Special Education from Rutgers University.
One of the most important messages I want my students to know is that our classroom is a place where each student can feel loved, respected, and challenged! I encourage them to take risks and to make mistakes! I love teaching students and look forward to a wonderful year ahead.
