AVID stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination. The AVID program is designed to close the achievement gap by preparing students for college readiness and academic success. AVID's goal is to target students in the academic middle who will benefit from AVID instructional techniques and strategies.
Students interested in applying for the AVID program should speak to their School Counselor for more information. The AVID application and interview process will be made available to students in late spring for the following school year.
