This year we were so excited to begin year two of our Brookside Garden. We germinated seeds indoors beginning in January, and we nurtured them for several weeks in our indoor garden labs. We watched the seeds germinate then sprout before our eyes! When the frost season ended, we transplanted the young plants to our outdoor garden. We observe and track their growth almost every day! We learned from last year's mistakes. This year we have rearranged some of the plants and spread them out more to avoid crowding. We have planted sugar snap peas, spinach, garlic, peppers, tomatoes, lettuce, strawberries, cauliflower, eggplants and we even have an herb garden.
