As a teacher, and a mom of a 6th grader, I understand that 5th grade can be somewhat overwhelming for students. There is a lot of information that you are required to learn. Therefore, I suggest that you create a HW schedule as soon as possible. Plan to review information every night, even if you do not have any "HW".
