Mrs. Fleming is a fifth grade teacher who loves children. She received her BS in Mathematics at Binghamton University and her MA in elementary education at the College of Staten Island.

Her first teaching position was in Brooklyn, NY where she taught first and second grade for two years. She transferred to Staten Island, where she taught third grade for one year. Then she decided to stay home and raise her four children. Their names are Ryan, Heather, Ashley and Connor. Ryan graduated from Drexel University and lives in Missouri with his wife Katie and their two cats, Andy and Izzy.  Heather went to The Ohio State University and graduated from Stockton University with a degree in Public Health.  She lives in Minnesota with her husband Nick, dog Archie, and cat Elsa. Ashley graduated from Montclair University with a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics and is a nutritionist in Peekskill, NY, and Connor graduated from NJIT with a BS in Information Technology.  He lives in Wisconsin working in IT.

She was thrilled to return to teaching at Mill Lake School in 2003 as a third grade teacher.  Now she has been teaching fifth grade at Woodland for the past ten years. You can be certain that there will be plenty of singing and dancing in her classroom.  School is fun!
