Welcome to the Fifth Grade! I can't wait to meet all of you and to get to know each and every one of you. We are going to have so much fun this year; I hope you are ready. Just in case, here are some tips to help you out.

There is a secret to having a great year and prepare you for MTMS next year... you need to be organized and responsibleEvery year, the PTO buys every Woodland student an assignment pad. Please use it to write down each homework assignment; writing down everything that is listed on the assignment pad on the front board. Don’t forget to add in any long term projects you are working on in the monthly calendar section located in front of your assignment pad. At the end of the day, use your assignment pad to help you to pack up. At home, once you have completed your homework, check off the completed box on the right side, then pack everything you need into your backpack. That’s the secret! Organization and responsibility are vital to be successful this year and in the years to come. I know you can achieve this goal. You just have to believe in yourself, as I do. Good luck!
