Classroom MVP
"Most Valuable Player"Class MVP is a privilege that the children can receive for demonstrating classroom effort and skills along with good classroom behavior. This bulletin board will be a special display for each MVP!
What does our Class MVP do?As MVP, your child will be the center of attention each day. Below you will see each day's event. Please make sure he/she is prepared for the daily activities.
Also, each MVP will be given 2 sheets of information to fill out and present to the class so we can learn more about him/her. When your child receives these MVP papers, he/she should return them to school no later than the following Monday morning. He/she will be presenting their MVP information the first day of the school week. Please assist your child in filling out the informational sheets.Monday- Please help your child choose pictures to share with the class (i.e. baby pictures, family, vacation, birthday, sports, etc.). No more than 10 pictures. The pictures will be displayed on a special bulletin board. They will be returned the following week.
Tuesday- Talent Show Tuesday or Show and Tell. Your child will be asked to showcase a talent or bring in show and tell items (i.e. favorite toy, collection, awards, trophies, hand-made items, or anything else interesting that might tell us more about your child). No more than 5 items.
Wednesday- The MVP should bring in his/her favorite book to share with the class. Either the MVP or I will read the book to the class. If the MVP is reading the book, be sure to practice at home!
Thursday- Interview. The class will pretend to be reporters that will interview the MVP. This is an opportunity for the other students to ask questions to get to know the MVP better.
Friday- The MVP will be awarded with a special “MVP” award.
Thank you for your cooperation!
