Meet Miss Teichmann!
Hi! My name is Brianne Teichmann and I am a 2nd Grade Teacher at Mill Lake! This is my fifth year teaching in Monroe. My first three years, I taught at Barclay Brook. I was a Special Education teacher all three years, spending one year in Kindergarten and the other two in 1st Grade. Last year I joined the Mill Lake family! This will be my second year teaching 2nd Grade.
I am a graduate of The Graduate School of Education at Rutgers University and hold a master's in Special Education. I am dual certified in Special Education and Elementary Education. I also completed my undergraduate degree at Rutgers in German Language & Literature and have a minor in Psychology. I am definitely a Scarlet Knights fan!
I LOVE to travel! My picture above is from my trip to Hawaii last summer. I am standing on hardened lava rock that is 30 years old at the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Some of my favorite places I've been are Germany, England, and Colorado. My ultimate favorite place to go is New Hampshire. So far this summer I have been to Rome, Eugene, Oregon for the Track & Field Olympic Trials, and New Hampshire!
I also love to run! I run with the Garden State Track Club. This summer I have been training to run my first marathon! I will run the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, DC on October 30th. I also love to read and spend time with my friends and family.
I look forward to having a great year with your children!
