    I teach two half day preschool classes at Mill Lake School. This is my 25th year teaching preschool in Monroe Township. Over that time, I have had the pleasure of working with many wonderful children and watching them grow and develop.

    My love of teaching began at a young age. I worked in camps, tutored, and worked in a family counseling center while growing up in New York City. I attended Queens College and received a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood/ Elementary Education and a Masters degree in Special Education. My teaching experiences in New York included teaching kindergarten and children with special needs before moving to New Jersey.

    I am lucky to have a very supportive work team at school and a family at home that I cherish. A quote I have lived by during my teaching career states, "If children do not learn the way we teach them, we teach them the way they learn." My philosophy has always been to build children’s self esteem in a multi-sensory, "hands-on" environment. I truly feel honored to do what I love and be able to set the foundation for future learning in the lives of my students.
