LEVELS OF BEHAVIOR IN OUR CLASSROOM

EVERYONE starts off in the GREEN and is given plenty of help to follow the rules

Green Card wil be "flipped" to a yellow warning card if necessary.

Yellow means slow down, think and make a positive change.  Students who become part of the solution can become green again.  Students that continue to be part of the "problem" are redirected/taught how to become part of the "solution".

If a yellow card is "flipped" to orange it is another chance to slow down, think and make a positive change. The teacher will review expectations and appropriate behavior with the student.

Orange cards are "flipped" to a red card if a student continues to make inappropriate choices repeatedly. The result of a red card may include one or more of the following:

    a)  Further assistance is given to the student so that he/she may make good choices and can be successful moving forward.

    b)  The student may not earn classroom ticket rewards or privledges.

    c)  The filling out a "Think About It" self reflection form and creating a plan for making better choices.

(This may be sent home for a parent to view and sign, but not always.)

    d)  A visit to the principal or our guidance counselor if their help can help create a positive outcome or assist in solving a problem.

Thank you for helping your child remember and follow
    these rules.

PLEASE SIGN AND RETURN BACK TO SCHOOL.
