All About Ms. Fletcher
This is my twentieth year teaching at Mill Lake! I am a graduate of Monroe Township High School and I am proud to be teaching in the town where I grew up. Monroe Township and Mill Lake are great places to be!
Other than teaching, I have another important job - being a mom! My son, Nicholas, is in high school and when I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with him and our family. I like to read, write and spend time outdoors. I also enjoy watching Nicholas play baseball, soccer and basketball. He's always keeping me on my toes.
I have the greatest job in the world. Being a teacher makes work fun. I completed my second master's degree, in Educational Supervision and Administration. I now hold four New Jersey educational certificates - elementary teacher, special education teacher, supervisor and principal. A few years ago, I took a short break from my time at Mill Lake and worked as the Acting Assistant Principal of Brookside and Oak Tree Schools while their Assistant Principal was on her maternity leave. It's great being back at Mill Lake!
In my spare time, I like to read, sing, play soccer and spend time with my family and friends. I am a proud alumni of the University of Maryland and follow all of their sports teams... Go Terps! My family is from the Bronx, NY and I was born there so I love the New York Yankees! I am a proud aunt to four nephews and one niece - Brian, Andrew, James, Joseph and Charlotte.
