Hello and Welcome to Mrs. Wirth's First Grade Classroom!Hello and welcome to my webpage! My name is Jenn Wirth and I am a first grade teacher at the Mill Lake Elementary School. I graduated from Caldwell College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education and English. While attending college, I was involved in many extra curricular activities, including the women's basketball team and the Education and English Honor Societies. I also received my Master's Degree in Supervision and Administration from Kean University.I pride myself in my ability to help others and my passion for teaching. My one, of many goals is to impact a child's life in much the same way that my 4th grade teacher impacted my life. I also hope to instill in my students, many of the life long lessons that my parents have taught me throughout the years. I truly believe that learning is a life long process, and I am so lucky to have the opportunity to be an integral part in this learning process. If my children leave me with more knowledge than they came in with, a love for learning, and the confidence that they can do anything if they put their mind to it, then I know I have succeeded as a teacher.It is truly an honor to be a part of the Mill Lake family. I am looking forward to having a fun filled and exciting year with my first graders!
