The deadline for filing a Nominating Petition is Monday, July 28, 2025, 4:00 p.m.

Notice About 2025 Nominating Petitions

IMPORTANT NOTICE: A-5117, a bill that increases the number of signatures needed on a Nominating Petition for a board of education election from 10 to 25 signatures, has been signed by the Governor on Feb. 3, 3025. The requirement is retroactive to Jan. 1, 2025. All future elections would need to include 25 signatures.

Deadline to withdraw a Nominating Petition has not been determined yet.

The date of the drawing of ballot positions has not been determined yet. The drawing will be held at Middlesex County Clerk Election Division, 26-B Kennedy Blvd. East Brunswick, NJ 08816. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
