Hello! My name is Dana DiBenedetto and I am super excited to be teaching 4th Grade at Woodland Elementary this year! I will start by telling you a little bit about myself so that you can get to know me. I graduated Georgian Court University with an Elementary Education (K-6) certification and Teacher of Students with Disabilities endorsement. This will be my 8th year teaching, but only my second year teaching at Woodland. Over that time, I have taught both 3rd and 4th grade. Fourth grade is my favorite because there are so many great books that we will get to read this year and a bunch of interesting topics to learn about! I am originally from New York, but I have been living in New Jersey for a few years now and I love it! I have a beautiful 18 month old baby boy and two rescue dogs named Mya and Zoey (pictures below). Some of my favorite hobbies include exercising, cooking, reading, spending time with my family, and planning fun lessons/activities for my students. Now that you know some important things about me, I cannot wait to find out all about you! We are going to have an amazing year together full of learning and fun, and I am looking forward to meeting all of my new students and their families! Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns that you may have.
