    About Mrs. Nagle

I am very excited to continue to be a fourth grade teacher at Brookside! I believe that learning should be hands on, taught utilizing real life situations and most importantly fun. I have a Bachelor of Science from Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia and a Masters Degree in Teaching from Rider University. I am dual certified in Elementary Education as well as Physical Education. In the 2019-20 school year I was honored as Brookside's Teacher of the Year!

I have two school-aged children, a dog and a cat. It is a busy house!
In the summer, I turn into an Uber driver, carting my two kids to their activities. I also enjoy anything water related (pool, beach, water parks, etc)!

I look forward to working closely with you to promote social and academic growth in your child this year!

    About Mrs. Brown

I have been fortunate enough to teach many different grade levels from preschool to 5th grade over the years, but 4th grade has always been my favorite!  I’m having a hard time believing that I have already been teaching for 15 years!  I love to teach using student-based activities where the students are discovering new ideas and concepts with guidance!  I attended Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania where I studied to become a teacher while playing soccer.  I am dual certified in Elementary Education and Special Education.

At home, I have two young, wild boys and a sweet, smiley girl.  They keep the house full of laughter and noise!  I also have a 5 year old labrador retriever named Dash that is as wild and crazy as my kids!  I love to be outdoors discovering new places and adventures, but also love to get cozy on the couch with a new book!  This summer, I spent some time reading the Harry Potter series finally.  My favorite part of being a teacher is building relationships with each child in my class.  I cannot wait to meet you!
