Senior Option Internship Students
Congratulations on choosing to do an Internship as your Senior Option!
An internship provides the opportunity to gain hands on work experience that you just can’t get in the classroom. The benefits of participating in an internship, whether paid or unpaid, while in high school are more valuable than you may know.
Because you may not be sure if a career is right for you, doing an internship is a great way to try it out before committing to a college major thus increasing your chances of graduating in four years.
Internships are a great way to meet people in your field. An internship allows you to meet people who might help you land a job later on and give you the contacts in the industry you’re trying to break into. Plus, references from people in the industry will really add weight to your application.
If you have any questions or need additional information, let me know.
