Who is teaching my child when they go to ECE?

·        Each class consists of a licensed, experienced K-5 certified teacher as well as a Teacher’s assistant.

Will my child be provided with lunch?

·        No, children are to bring a lunch from home that does not require anything to be heated up.

Where does my child eat lunch?

·        Each child eats lunch in their designated classroom.

Where does my child go if they need to use the bathroom?

·        Each classroom has their own bathroom for the students to use.

How do I get in touch with my child’s ECE teacher?

·        REMIND  APP ( an app used to communicate pictures and information on what is going on in the classroom)

·        EMAIL ( Teacher’s email will be provided the first week of school)

Does my child have recess at ECE?

·        Yes!  Students will be given the opportunity to have both indoor and outdoor recess weather permitting.

Is ECE a daycare service?

· No.  ECE is a structured learning enrichment program.

What will my child learn? 

· Our certified ECE Teachers follow the New Jersey State Learning Standards, delivered in a thematic curriculum.  

· Our teachers have the flexibility to teach concepts based on differentiated learning models and student need. 

Will my child have AM or PM ECE?

· AM & PM kindergarten is determined by your child’s home school. Once we have your child’s kindergarten information from their home school, your child will be assigned their ECE placement.
