Welcome
Welcome to the Monroe School District Health Office
The principal role of the school nurse is to support student learning by promoting student and staff health and safety acting as a bridge between health care and education. We accomplish this by caring for the sick and injured, administering medication, reviewing all immunization records, and performing annual screenings. The nurses address the physical, mental, emotional and social health needs of our students. We work closely with the Child Study Team, the 504 team and the guidance department.
The nurses also conduct educational programs for staff, teach health education as needed, and are a health education resource.
Every Monroe Township School Nurse is a Certified School Nurse. Please visit the school nurse page for your child using the link to the left. Each nurse maintains up-to-date information and forms appropriate for that school.
